Procrastination Hurts

Disorganization, distraction, and low motivation are just the symptoms of procrastination. Its inner experience consists of painful emotions:

Anxiety

Not knowing what is due when, or whether you'll finish it on time, or the final product will be any good, is nerve wracking, It makes you anxious and sometimes panicked.

Pessimism

Realizing that your inaction, or half-efforts, have led to missed opportunites and bad impressions makes you sad and even depressed.

Self-Blame

Thinking about your past self's decision to not try, not engage, not persist, and give up, makes you angry. It's infuriating that you didn't make the most of your past opportunities.
